I will never get over Lexie’s death but one thing that would make me watch the start of season 9 is if we get some proper Mark/Meredith bonding.
Presuming they live, they’ll be the two that are hit hardest by her death so I’m hoping SR utlilises this and allows them to pull each other through their grief.
But this is Shonda Rhimes and Grey’s Anatomy, so most likely we’ll get half a sad scene and boom everyone’s moved on by the next episode :(
Also after that E!Online interview, I do not think Shonda hated Lexie or ML. Quite the bloody opposite. Which you know adds an entire sockful of salt to the gaping wound, but still, she loved them as a couple which means she isn’t Satan reincarnated like some people are making her out to be.
